I own a Bosch combination with standard and plunge bases. Porter Cable and Milwaukee also a good option for routers. I built my own router table. I made the top of my router table with 2 pieces of MDF put together and laminated maple all around. Arborite then laminated to the top and bottom. If you really want to take seriously the furniture and joinery and then obtain the tools that will last not, tools for the owner who occasionally uses them.
