What is the best glue to use sick marine shells in the boxes and mirrors?
Since the beginning of my work for a year shell. I found very difficult to find the best glue to use. I tried a few different types such as hobby glue, wood glue and glue dinner. who do not have very well. For the moment, with a glue called impact. I've been through much the same experience. I use broken china more shells in my sculptures and used hot glue (you can get the level of construction), but fell in love with power, the construction adhesive effect by LOCTITE. I think IRT in the tools section blank and painting / tail section at Home Depot and Lowes. It comes in a tube. You can even get in one of those large pipes or chalk as epoxy sealant. I buy it in the size of the smaller toothpaste-like. Only to give you an idea, I used hard as nails in a mosaic-out-I had to repair about 5 times! It's in a public library, but also went to the sculpture Loctite Souix Falls SD tornado season and has been out at that time for 2 years without any problem! What a great test! Low odor, too. I was very happy find it. Get a small tube is a clear thats kind that looks like a model of collaboration that works well, but is a bit nasal. The other has a larger cap, more fat and is thicker and better. Sale dried white but clear. Good luck!
