need help with pokemon ruby team?
my team so far.... up to 6th gym leader
marshtomp lv 34
mud shot, surf, take down, and ice beam
linoone lv 35
headbutt, covet, fury swipe, rock smash
skarmory lv 33
air cutter, steel wing, agility, swift
shroomish lv 39
headbutt,poison powder, stun spore, leech seed
who should i have for my last two slots?
im thinking donphan and someone else but who

marshstomp - evovle it to swampert and replace mud shop and an earthquake.
linoone - take out covet and teach it extremespeed ( i think by TM or breeding... i forgot) and replace fury swipes with maybe belly drum or shadowball
[the moveset for linoone i used had bellydrum, ES, shadow ball, and rocksmash. but theres nothing wrong with yours, just that fury swipes is a weak move and covet is okay i guess. no offense ><]
skarmory - i never tried using skarmory. so i can't help :\
shrromish - make it learn spore and evolve it into Breloom. if you'd like, have it relearn mach punch.
for a better attacking move, there's focus punch but its a bit risky since its a "two turn" base move. if your pokemon is hit, then focus punch will fail. to avoid this, maybe you can replace headbutt or stun spore with substitute, but its up to you
donphan - its a decent pokemon. i used it in crystal and it was okay.
you should get a fire type. torkal has good defense and decent attack. camerupt would be a better choice because it's fire and ground and has a decent movepool to teach such as earthquake, rockslide, and overheat.
an eletric type would also help. magneton has high special attack and defense because of its steel type.
manetric (you can catch as eletrike and evolve it) has high speed and special attack.
or you can use pikachu, everyone's favorite yellow rodent.
either way, its up to you and i think you have a great team
