I am modding my computer and I need to cut a sheet of plexiglass. I would like to know what is the best tool to use, and what type of blade or bit.
Plexiglas is most easily cut by SCORING the surface with a plexiglas score, basically a $10 handheld knife kinda of tool but with a sharp reverse 'hook' at the end on the tip. The tool is sold everywhere the plexi material is sold. Home Depot for instance.
You simple drag it across the line you wish to cut several times, and it removes material each time. Once you've done this 2-3 times, you simply SNAP the material at the seam and away you go. Clean, straight, easy.
