Sanders little detail is suitable for the removal of many layers of paint?
I have to strip the doors of the old house I have, there must be at least 10 layers of paint on there! I tried some chemical stripper that great works in 2-3 layers, but it is the depth! Giving a detail sander (as the Black and Decker mouse) do the job right? I do not imagine a torch! My father had one, which seemed very dangerous and hot! Like the 'fire' in a gas flame (this is a very old memory though ...). I am sure that I burn. Chemical stripper is just removing one layer at a time. Lead to a long and costs a fortune. I've used it before in the latest wood with 2-3 coats of paint and that's fine, but this is obviously too much. My very old memory of my father with a gun heat makes them look scary but I was probably around 5 which is not exactly accurate! chemically immersing the door is too expensive. And it is a door panels with lots of bits of Fiddly sanding only be able to do, just want to say.
No, do not use a sanding will lifetime, and can not be lead-based paint on the door, so you do not want dust all over the place, especially if they have kids. I made a couple of old doors and I am the best and most easy (though still labor intensive) is to use a heat gun. A heat gun is not a torch, is, basically, are actually reinforced hairdryer.
