How do you use a chainsaw chain sharpener, Granberg is a G91?
It is probably very old, my brother gave me before he died and I forgot, I said use it. It connects to a battery. I'm not sure where to put the guidance and grinder or in what direction to go, and also, if I push or if it happens automatically. I see an "off / on" button. Happy new year!
I have the grinder like you, and the truth, I used tonight. Not that hard to learn to use with the guide. I even put my own guide, and back to the truth, I do not spend much time trying, but did not know how to guide the work to begin. Maybe occasionally stop and put the guide back up there to make sure they are still about 35 * but the problem most people have is sharpening chains to sharpen all the teeth well, but have one side for the sake of argument, lets just say 37 * on one side of the chain and 33 * of the other and makes the saw cutting crooked. Another thing is that there are chains of various sizes, wait a minute and let me go for. I'm laughing my ass. I do not think I've written, but it is off, lol. Even my wife have a daughter laughed at him. Anyway, I went to search the catalog of Bailey's, to check in the sizes of the chain and stones to suit everyone. 5 / 32 "stone fits the 1 / 4" chain. 3 / 16 "is set to .325" chains. 7 / 32 "fits .375" and .404 "chain. There should be a thumb switch on the wire about a foot of the grinder in which only turn a small wheel to enter into or off. I ordered mine with a 120-volt transformer and hooker directly above it. If I go into the woods I sharpen 3 or 4 channels and carry with me. Thus not have to stop and sharpen, just changed. You can get replacement stones www.baileys-online.com. They cost $ 1.49 each and a bag of 25 cost $ 29.75. Plus s & H, of course. You have to pay 'em a little extra to sell you someting, LOL. I bought a bag when the branch shapener and still have over half of them the left and have worsened in several mountain chains and the mill continues to receive well. As someone said, a file will do the job, but do not throw it away. I do not give mine nothing except a mill that uses a 3 / 16 "x 5 to 5 / 8" wheel that I need as soon as I finish my mill I am building. Has 34 "in the bar and I do not think I want to be set up there with this little toy, compared with $ 300 pencil sharpener, and trying to perfect the chains 3 or 4 a day and dam sure dont habit to do with a file. If you pass a bar 14 ", you need a mill of some sort, whether they are cutting all wood at all. It's a simple fact.
