how to remove drill bit from firestorm 12v black and decker cordless drill?
We are trying to change bits in a borrowed drill and cannot figure it out and the owner does not remember. It is a 12v Firestorm by black and decker.
Typically what happens to keyless chucks with a little age is the threads on the base of the jaws start to wear and bind.
First try shooting a little lube down the chuck.
If this does`nt work, take a hammer and a small punch and "lightly" tap each jaw down into the chuck. This should loosen the chuck.
