It's lighter than any corded saw. The reciprocating saw comes with an electric brake, which prevents blades from breaking when exiting a plunge cut. It features a steel wobble plate and magnesium gear case for maximum durability and a rubber boot, handle, and trigger for maximum comfort while a pivoting shoe with open top provides optimal visibility. Blade reverses for upside-down cutting. You'll be able to cut 50 2-by-4s, 144 1-1/2-inch PVC pipes, or 30 6-inch roof vents in a single charge
